Later FS2000s had this sear removed at the request of the ATF, due to it making the rifle ridiculously easy to convert to full waste-tons-of-ammo mode. As a consequence the FS2000 no longer has an anti-drop saftey seer. Don't shoot your eye out.
I have seen this on GB for many months. $850 is pretty steep for somewhere around a $75 hammer pack even with the auto sear. And some people will pay the price for a $1.00 piece of plastic.

It is the auto sear. Not the anti-drop sear. If it was the anti drop sear, they would have had to replace it with something else to prevent firing if the firearm was dropped.

The auto sear is not needed in semi auto firearms as there are other sears within the hammer pack that provides the functions required.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

Looking at my white hammer pack I don't see a sear that would function as an anti-drop as would the auto-sear. I admit the spring force on the hammer sear is strong enough to make it very difficult to release from impact.

Can you point out the anti-drop sear?

Little silver tab in the upper left hand corner.

Alot of people consider the auto sear as a secondary drop sear. This is incorrect. The auto sear will not function as a drop sear if the firearm is in battery because the auto sear will have disengaged the hammer.
    Pooprocket thanked this.

Thank you, I feel a bit better about this.
