In regards to the Russian stuff, we all know the stories about it. My father bought the ammo (he paid $50 for about 440 rounds) from my uncle since it wouldn't cycle through his AR. My father bought it to try out in his AR, and worst case scenario, have some cheap ammo to plink with in his .223 bolt action. We tried it on both my BCM AR and his Stag Arms. The ammo became problematic after about 20 rounds on both rifles. However, we shot about 200 rounds of the stuff through the FS2000 without a hitch on the normal gas setting. This included some rapid fire in 10-15 round bursts. I don't have much to report on the accuracy of the stuff but we were on target just shooting cans/steel targets at about 50 yards. This definitely won't be my go to plinking ammo for this rifle, it is very dirty and you can be shooting M193 for not much more. but it may be worthwhile to pick some up if you come across a deal.
In a previous thread I had asked about the primary arms dot as a temporary optics, anyways I purchased one. For the price it is a decent choice. It's well built, will cowitness with the irons without a riser and is a good optic for anyone to have around. If you go in expecting an aimpoint substitute you'll be disappointed but FWIW the optic is better than the $80 price tag suggests.
