What loads are getting you the best reliability/accuracy?

I've been experimenting with various factory loads at 100 yards and while I'm not getting anywhere near 1 MOA (using a 4x ACOG), I'm getting best overall results (3" groups) from Federal 62gr 5.56. I tried some heavier loads in the 75gr+ range but even though the barrel is 1/7, I encountered too too many jams to group reliably.

Aside from hand reloads, curious what others have seen, brands, weights, 5.56 vs. .223, etc. that cycle and perform the best on this fine weapon.

    thanks

I've shot PRVI 75gr Match HP BT, Brown Bear 55gr FMJ, and Winchester 64gr Power Points.

All on the normal gas setting and never a failure.

As for accuracy, not good enough with the factory irons to say.

The best I ever got was 4" at 200 yards. I was told thats the best its going to get. 001 (7).jpg

    Thats using M855 62gr.

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

Impressive. Was that with your eotech only or did you have a magnifier/scope?

That's the same ammo I'm using, the green tip.

That trigger is an accuracy killer..

I have a Leupold 3-9x40 Mark AR on a QD mount. It is good for what its made for. They never intended the FS2000 to be a match rifle. Its a kick ass take no prisoners Bull-Pup! So yea it does its job and will kill @ 500m

I found that if you pay attention there is a "second feeling" stage to it. I pull it almost 3/4 and then feel the change and thats where it releases. Give it time. I am sure it shoots better than me still.
