    Is this FS2000 worth $2200?

Hey FNForum Community! I am a first time poster, but I've been lurking around for some time now, and the knowledge I've gained from the community has been invaluable.

I am ready to own my first FN rifle, and have been spending a lot of time looking for the right PS90 and / or FS2000 (the prices I've seen have been just crazy).

Recently a friend told me his buddy would sell me his used FS2000 for $2,200. This would include 1,000 rounds of ammo, 4 mags, and a water proof case (like a pelican). I'm told it is in excellent condition with low round count.

I was hoping to rely on the community's expert insight into whether or not you guys thought this was a good deal. I've had my heart set on a PS90 for some time now, but the FS2000 is really intriguing. If $2,200 is a steal, I may just have to pull the trigger (no pun intended!)

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

What is low round count. 1 k of ammo is almost worth 1 k alone. Mags 40 eaxh, case 80. Means ur
gun is 1000. Seems to good to be true. Does it work?

IMO its a decent deal, thats pending the weapon is in the condition that he says its in. Especially with the added ammo/mags/case. Some may or will tell you that if its a 9000 series then it may not be worth it but I say go for it, pending your own inspection of the weap. Dont wait too long with whats going on in the world right now b/c it may not be there for long

At current prices, and if it is in said condition, it's not too bad. What type of ammo is included?

You still have the lifetime FN warranty. As long as he did not screw up the rifle, buy it!

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

1000 rds of ammo included? Hell yeah its a good deal. Take the gun to the range with your buddy make sure rifle shoots fine first before your purchasing the rifle.

Even if he throws in 1000 rounds of .22LR ammo, it's worth it.

The advice you guys have given is awesome. Thanks so much.

I had no idea FN rifles had lifetime warranties, so it helps make this noob feel a lot better about buying a used FS2000. Also, taking the rifle to the range before buying it is a great idea (but not sure if my buddy's friend is cool with me taking up his time).

I should clarify though that the FS2000 is being priced at $2300, not $2220 (but according to your feedback, it seems that it is still a great price).

I have followed up with my buddy with the following questions:
    1) How many rounds have been through it?
    2) Is it the CBQ version (includes Tri-Rail) or Tactical version (no Tri-Rail)?
    3) What type of ammo is included?

I'll make sure to keep you guys posted.

    Thanks again!
