Saw these at my local Gander Mountain the other day. Should have grabbed one.

Iv'e got that mag. Funny, they were talking about the FNP9M like it just hit the market. Kinda crazy.

I talk up FN products on another forum every chance I get. People treat me like I have a horn growing out of my head most times. FN has great products. I do think they need to be more visable in the market. Someday all the military money may dry up for them. I'd like to see more FN product on dealer shelves, Rep's at range days, advertising, etc..

There's a lot of people who don't realize that.

I used to think of Browning and Winchester as their own entities and being way different, but boy was I wrong when I first learned they had the same parent company (and even some similar guns).
Well Browning and Winchester are American "legends" and sort of part of the national heritage. It's normal that FN (even though its a established and respect rifle company and not some sort of hedge fund) as a foreign company does want to keap a low profile not to hurt (patriotic) feelings. I mean Browning and Winchester owned by Belgians (and even French a couple of years a go). Brrr.

Last years they have had a more agressive approach to US customers and seem to promote FN more (but still avoiding linking both companies.) Besides that FN know very well that the idea that 70% of small arms in the US army is made by some foreign-local government owned (currently socialist-green-liberal christian coalitian ) company is making it an easy target for protectionist and nationalistic sentiments (exploited by its USA owned competitors).

Warm 'em up with a 12 ga Magnum load

I have one friend who was new to shooting. Started him out on low brass shotgun shells for clays and 22's. For pistol, a 22 for learning basics then my FNP 45. Would've started him on my FNP 9, but I didn't have any 9mm range ammo at the time.
Yeah for some reason my brothers won't shoot my 10 ga anymore after the one round but they do shoot there own guns. You guys are right though, bring whoever you can to the sport and start them out light if need be

Hi, I may be wrong but I think theres a similar situation with another old foreign gun mfg firm. They made guns before Hitler and also after Hitler.

I think the FN gun Mfg. relationship is kind of like the CZ gun mfg. relationship.
They also have the overseas mfg. branch and the CZ-USA Kansas City company branch or arm.
    My FN says Fredericksburg Va.
My CZ says CZ-USA Kansas City
They both make quality weapons for the US and World markets.
