That's interesting, I didn't know the FNP-45 had the FNX rail, pistol grip/checkering and new style safety lever.
Thanks

FN decided to re-do the FNP 9 and 40 with the 45's style frame (mainly the grip texturing. It's kind of their 'thing' now, or at least that's what they are going for).

The US Army likes to have a high round count for barrels. My duty pistol(Beretta M9(92F for you civs. ) has to be one of the first they got it's beat to HE!!. I hope the Army goes to the FNP-45 it would be a nice change or at least go back to the 1911. Funny story on how the US Mil. went to the M9 though. It was a "treaty" to keep us in good standing with Italy. So when they were testing to "replace" the 1911 they changed the requirements so the M9 would get the contract. Go figure politics gets to decide what pistol I carry.Originally Posted by djv38

AIRBORNE!!
My FNX is just over 6 months old and has close to 1,000 rounds through it without a single problem. Has seen about every ammo around. Cheap WWB, High quality factory protection ammo, cast hand loads, JHP hand loads loaded VERY HOY for protection and about anything else I could stick in her magazine. Eats them all.
