Here I am two years after I swore to go for a FN BHP and I finally have one on a down payment. I can pick it up in ten days. :<>:
I didn't see a date on it but the sn begins with 76C..... Is that a clue to the year of birth?

FN discontinued the FN marked Hi-Power some time ago.
You can call Bob and he can find the date for you.

Thanks for the reply jhs.
I just found out what I need to know from a search.

Just as I suspected.![]()
That link is for the Browning Hi-Power.
I'm not sure it will translate to the FN version as the numbers are probably different.
So are you asking about a FN Hi-Power or Browning Hi-Power?Originally Posted by Parabellus
I'm guessing by the mixed term you posted it is a Browning.
The link shows the numbering scheme for FN numbers.
