    Holster for Browning Hi-Power

Uncle Mike's Sidekick Hip Holster Size #5

I just got a couple of Uncle Mike's Sidekick Hip Holsters . Size is a #5.
Fit is fine. Price is reasonable.

If you are looking for a holster I just wanted you all to know that the #5 size fits the BHP.

Most 1911 holsters will also fit the HP.

    Hello,

My High Powers ride in Andy Arratoonian's Model 28XS Crossdraw. I mostly wear the 28XS on my strong-side though, at the 2 O'Clock/Appendix position. The holster also works well at the 3 O'Clock position, and it's muzzle forward rake (when worn strong-side) makes for a very fast & natural draw, and it's great to be able to switch the holster to it's crossdraw mode when carrying a rifle or shotgun - or for when you just simply want to carry crossdraw.

Andy's Model 28XS is a very useful holster, and it's one that I highly recommend. http://www.holsters.org/crossdraw-holster.htm

Thanks for the welcome sir, and by all means, please feel free to call me Bob.

I'm in the Tampa Bay area, and due to this summer's HEAT - I wish I was in Alaska!

    holster for Hi-Power

I have a really well constructed leater holster I got from Cowboy & Shooters Supply. It's called the Woodsman Pancake Holster #570 made by Triple K Manufacturing and is brown leather and suede lined. It's just one of several holsters they advertise as fitting the Hi-Power so take a look. It has the thumb snap and a a third belt cutout so you can wear it straigtht up rather than forward canted if you wish.

    Best regards,

It should fit a 1911 too if you have one.
