    internal extractor questions

i have my 1944 GP-35, and i need to find a new extractor for her. i have found two options, one is from Numerich, and costs about 40 bucks, remanufactured. my other option is to go with Jack First, and that should cost about 80. my Question to you guys is if any of y'all have had experience with either, or both, and witch one you think is the better option. i don't mind spending the money to get the best part possible, but if the one from Numerich is as good as the one from Jack First, i might as well have two on hand for the same price as one. i just wanna make sure i got the best option possible i guess. thank you guys in advance for the input, i have to admit im always amazed at the information that you guys have to offer.

I've bought several parts from Numerich for my C&R guns and never had a problem with them.

    Eon,

Was this recently? It's always good to have additional sources for hard to get parts.

Oh howdy Burgs, yeah it was just a month ago. They still have a few in stock last I checked (last night).
I'm also one of the noobs on the Hi-Power forum. You tried to help me on there, thanks again.

    Eon,

You're most certainly welcome. Thanks for chiming in with the update. For awhile there internal extractors were very hard to find.

No problem, I thought that was what mine needed so I've got some stashed now. Turned out, the original extractor works 100% after I had the chamber polished, it was a bit rough, but now smooth as silk. I was thinking of selling the HP to put into my SCAR fund but I've changed my mind, I like the HP too much and put too much effort in it to get rid of it now. Besides, "all good things come to those who wait..." right? So just a bit more patience...

You could try Blue Ridge Collectibles in Virginia (Blue Ridge Gun Parts Home Page - BlueRidgeGunParts@gmail.com - 540-456-6405). I bought an internal from them, but it was a year and a half ago so I don't know if they still have any. In any case, good luck!
