I don't think this weapon was desingned by FN. Its probably only marketed (and made?) by FN in some countries especially the US for some small company. They have done the same in the past for a small French company. The US Military procurement process is a labyrint and FN has the experience and the connections.Originally Posted by djv38

I thought it said it was made of "lighter" polymers etc... I'd expect it to weigh less than 17lbs. That's a hefty rifle to haul around (in my opinion).Originally Posted by SgtStrykerUSMC43
yep. That's the one. Thanks.Originally Posted by SgtStrykerUSMC43
I figured as much. Had one. It shot like sh*t. Expensive, and a hard lesson learned. It was the 'Ultima Ration Intervention'. Fancy name for a doorstop...Originally Posted by solidarnosc

The Ballista weapon is manufactured by Unique Alpine in Germany.
The PGM Precision company in France manufactures the PGM Ultima Ratio, PGM .338LM PSR and PGM Hecate II .50 Sniper weapon systems.

07/02 SOT Manufacturer, Suppressors, NFA Firearms, and everything else COOL!
Looks a lot like the Remington rifles.
I got to shoot this at SHOT this year. had the .308 set up with a S&B scope. nice gun. 5/5 on steel 1000 yards out. FN guys were saying that 8500 was expected MSRP. lot of jack but you would prob be the only guy at ur range with a ballista
