Yeah, the plane ticket is the easy part...but I saw (get it?) one of those for sale in the U.S., supposedly transferable, for $33,000.

Scary to imagine what it would cost in Swiss francs....

I'd rather fly to Germany, buy a Porsche and drive around at Nurburgring....

    (Sorry, no umlauts).

In Switzerland, autos are forbidden by law. But you have two exceptions: (1) you can obtain an exceptional purchase permit (PAE) which costs you CHF 150 to buy an automatic weapon; but permit is subject to the goodwill of the delivering authority (contrary to a normal permit, where it is sufficient to buy a CHF 50 license, have no criminal record, and state that your are in good (mental) health); shooting with automatic weapons is also subject to authorizations; (2) every service weapon is auto by definition; but shooting is mandatory in semi (there is a mechanism on the weapon to block auto fire), except on military ground.

    Blocking mechanism

Price of autos is not higher, sometimes lower, than the same model in semi-auto. The very high prices in the USA for autos is only due to that no additional permits are delivered, I guess.

One should know that shooting auto with individual service weapons is not instructed anymore because it was found inefficient; therefore auto is now reserved for collective weapons i.e machine guns (light or heavy).

The reason auto fire guns are expensive in the USA is there is a finite amount of transferable weapons to go around. Civilian cannot own one that was made after May 1986.

That, and some big mouth rich bozo that opened his mouth to say that machine guns are a good investment, years ago.

Auto weapons cost just as much as the semi auto ones, up until that point.
