    Swiss Minimi

Last year, after being very patient (5 years), I found this nearly new Minimi. It is the para triple rail (TR) version:

My Minimi differs somewhat from the Swiss Army one: the Swiss one has a fixed butstock and has a barrel thread optimized fort the GP90 ammo i.e 10" turn instead of 7"

The Minimi in the background is a Swiss Army one. This was a destruction / stress test for a silencer.

    Destruction / stress test?

Looked more like "fun" to me.

    Who manufactured the suppressor, B&T?

I Like your para minimi. Very nice condition. Did you get the spare barrel as well?

    Also,

    Do you have a PE57, a PE90, and a 210?

Yes, I have, I will post some pictures in the black rifle section. The army issued weapons are not called PE; i.e PE stands for "Privat Einzelschuss" which means "private semi-auto"; in other words the same weapon as the army one but build without auto-fire mechanism; the army denomination is FASS or STG 57, 90 and the P210 becomes P49; the figures standing for the year the weapon has been commissioned: 1957, 1990 or 1949; STG meaning STurmGewehr, FASS Fusil d'ASSaut or Assault Weapon. All army issued weapons have a serial number starting with an A, Private ones with a P. After finishing active service, you have the possibility to keep your service weapon; then the weapon is modified to be semi-auto only, and a P-mark is added at the end of the serial number.

The code name for the army Minimi is LMg05 meaning Leicht Maschingewehr 2005 (light machine-gun).

No the silencer has been developed by AMSD (Advanced Military Systems Design), who developed the .50BMG OW Nemesis (OW= Jim Owens & Chris Movigliatti), the B&T .308 and .338 APR and many other.
    The above in a nutshell.
