Hi,
I would like to thank DonL for the tips regarding the ATI mags. I took his pointers and cleaned up my CDNN freebies and now they work fine whereas they didn't before the fix. Here are some photos and text of my interpretation of his tips...
I used a long piece of plain ol 1/8th rod...hammered the end of it till I had a flat area of at least 3/4" long. I then used a sander to shape a chisel tip on it and then sharpened it ...razor sharp! Stick it down the mag channel and shave off the seams on both sides as indicated in the photos. Be sure and remove any similar casting flaws on each side of each roller. Another area in need of attention is the roller path just before it rotates 45deg. There is a seam there as well needing shaving. All this along with EA or FN springs (I'd toss the ati springs) and you will be good for battle!![]()

Good post Edorfox! Great pics!
You do know that the springs are the same in the FN 30 and 50 round mags?Originally Posted by Deployment Solutions US

So I picked up 2 of these mags for free from a friend who just got rid of his 5.7 AR upper. One word: GARBAGE! Neither one functioned properly, and they led to the first FTFs i've experienced with my PS90. Long story short is they are now in a landfill somewhere in WV.
I just bought a new PS90, and they threw in one ATI magazine along with the purchase. After shooting 50 rds with it , it started to fail and jam. I was shooting the 197 ammo. I took it back and the exchanged it and they threw in an extra magazine as well. I thought wow, great deal , until i started to load the magazines and then it just had no spring action in either one. These are cheap magazines, taking them both back and going to purchase FN instead...
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
Yep, when you can get the real deal for around $25, why skimpI know you didn't know anybetter so shame on your dealer

You see in this world there's two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig?
they used to sound good when FNH mags were $65, but they got wise fast and lowered their prices. I have two the AR57 mags they will never get used.
I got three ATI POS mags with aused PS90 I bought. All the right side feed ramps were loose- I pried them off and epoxied them back on- better than new. They seem to feed fine hand cycling, but I think I have an edge here:
Since I live in CA, these are 10 round mags, with the hellacious tension that the compressed 50 round mag spring provides. I'll probably test these out, and if they break, I'll just junk them.
It also came with one AR57 10 rounder- when I took it apart, the plastic seems much higher quality than ATI, as well as the internal components- much closer to the FN mag THe ATI feels like a cheap toy molded in a chinese factory. The insides look like crap.
