Question? Magazine convertion 30 to 50 round
I know you must replace the 30 round spacer floor plate to the flat 50 round floor plate but do you have to replace the spring in a 30 round mag to convert it to a 50 round? Is the spring in the 30 round is shorter than a 50?

The springs are the same.

Nope
it's the same spring. $7 for a new floor plate, 25 seconds to install and you're good to go.

Take the old floor plate cut off the ends and glue them together, $0.
