Changing PS90 factory optic to weaver rail

Can the one that comes with an optic be changed to a weaver rail?

If so, is it just as good as the PS90 that comes from the factory with a rail?

Someone is selling one in my area, but it has the optic. I want to put a Doctor red dot on it.

Mine originally had the ring sight. I replaced it with the HALO triple rail. FN also makes a rail that can replace the optical sight. Because the heights of the receivers are different, a rail on top of a ring sight model is going to sit a little higher than on the factory TR gun.

The FN ones I found online were about $100-$200.
