    Magazine Spring Supplier??

    Greetings Gang!

Seems there has been a bit of a turn over with some of our parts vendors as of late. Neoarms/MagazineParts loosing credibility within the forum, etc.
So, has anyone had any luck finding a vendor/supplier for replacement magazine springs? I for one, have not!

    Thanks!

In all the years I've been shooting, I have yet to wear out a magazine spring in a new unit.

If you are trying to stir up some shit with maggetparts, you have come to the wrong place. Very odd first post indeed.

If you wear out FN magazine springs in the next 30 years, come back and see if we have a supplier then. If you are paranoid, and need to stock up on springs, place an order with maggetparts, let us all know if you get them before you retire.

Either way, you will not be coming back for 30 years to report your findings.

TH, I believe you misread my post. I'm not trying to stir up some shit. I'm trying to stir up some information. I was surprised, that your post, coming from a 'site administrator' was... no help! The dissemination of information, was this not the intended design behind a forum, or has that been lost over the years?

My time spent behind the barrel has proved one common fact. That the majority of weapon feed failures are due to magazine spring wear. And, my 'fact gathering' began back in the early '90s with our first visit to South West Asia. Then again with our most recent visit, or in my case, visits. So, am I being paranoid? No. Just experienced.

Perhaps, if I had explained the reason for my query in the original post, the information sharing could have began a bit sooner. When the FN magazines became impossible to find, I purchased a few of the ATI (ATIM572850) 50 round magazines. Well, I just now tested these magazines. The results were not good! Once the round count got to approximately 15, they ALL failed to feed. I replaced the ATI spring only, with the FN spring, and the magazine worked flawlessly! Hence the need for new magazine springs.

My original post was not intended to be nefarious. I'm just trying to salvage a small pile of ATI magazines!

    Cheers!

    Vadis :
    Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunetly your first post was on a sensative subject matter (Magazine Parts), one for this forum's members and its Admin.
The atmosphere over Magazine Parts can be summed up here for details:
    http://fnforum.net/magazineparts-def...et-t16242.html

I had no problems ordering from Magparts a long time ago, way before their problems started.
Now that I know many details of their problems...Would I order from them now???....
I'd order from CMMG before them, and those of you that know my orderal over the $20 magazine spring situation know that I don't plan to order from CMMG in a long time.

That said, take time and research over the Magazine Parts info here and do as you will with it.

On a side note, I think Critical Dimensions LLC might be able to help you with the mag springs.
    Shoot them a PM.

We do lots of springs, every spring for the M16 platform, AK, PKM, M2HB, M240/249 and others but nothing yet for the P90 types.
If there's enough interest and a reliable retail vendor to facilitate, then we'll do the P90 too.
    Thanks.
