I use Botach once in a while. Each time I have ordered from Botach there has been things on the order that are out of stock and sometimes it takes a while to get the order.
If I can order something elsewhere for a few bucks more I will, but if I have to order from them it's not the end of the world. It's not like they are trying to screw you, they are just

I ordered the Upgrade rail set from Troy Industries. The rails didn't have the the night sights so i sent them back. I'm waiting to recoeve them again.
Sometimes I feel like a nut!!! Sometimes I don't!!!

How did the troy rail compared the stock "standard" rail?
I have been looking at replacing the rail on mine.

I ended up getting the USG model which doesn't have rails. I don't have a standard but the standard rail is longer.
The USG just has the stock reticle scope mounted on top of the barrel support plate. Sometimes I feel like a nut!!! Sometimes I don't!!!

The rail that Troy sells is a bit shorter than the standard. Also the rail sits lower than the standard.

That rail sits high, I bought this XPS2-3 for it and it sits hi.
But not so high that you can't use it good and the BUIS on it is real good I like them but I don't like xps on it and I just put it on that AR.
I like it on that.

I think the standard would be perfect if one was using a double magazine setup. I'm waiting on my rails from Troy Ind. now so I can add my goodies into a USG model.

I'm sold on the promoted pawn rail for the usg. a eotech fits nicely on it and you still can use the irons.
