I have been searching for a sling for a while now and have had a hard time choosing one. I had some extra paracord lying around so I decided to try making a single point sling to hold me over for the mean time. I am so glad I did, I like it so much I probably will not be buying a new one. It is made for me so it is not adjustable and it is also not removable although i have figured a way to stow it neatly. I like it so much I decided to share a couple pics stowed and deployed.

Oh wow, I'd love to make one myself. You wouldn't happen to be able to direct me on the kind of knot and estimated length you used. Maybe some more detailed pics to show the cord?
Nothing good can ever come from staying with normal people.
Interesting.
How long did it take you to make that???

I think it is called a cobra knot it is the same knot used to make most paracord bracelets. I learned from a youtube tutorial. I dont remember the exact amount of cord but i think it was about 50 feet. I am on duty today and wont be relieved till 8am tomorrow, so I will upload some pictures with more detail tomorrow when i get home.
