removing magazine safety for reduced trigger pull?

I read somewhere that removing the magazine safety improves trigger feel. Has anyone done this? Is there a DIY guide on this tweak?

I'd like to get my trigger to around 4lbs, any ideas?

    thanks,
    jason

maybe, I can't remember where I read it but could have been regarding the pistol if this doesn't apply to the PS90

Any tricks to reduce pull weight on the PS90?

    thanks

There are ways to reduce trigger pull on the PS90, but it pretty much involves voiding your warranty, and doing a lot of modification to the trigger bar assembly. A gentlemen on the other form did this. Obviously this is a DAYOR (do at your own risk) project. FSN

There use to be trigger weight reducers but these are no longer sold, They allowed you to adjust trigger weights buy re-tensioning the spring. Do to safety concerns they were discontinued.

The PS90 doesn't have a mag safety. There are a few ways to improve the trigger. Polishing and Lubricating any points of friction is a good start. The trigger weight and length of pull can be reduced, but this increases the chance of accidental discharge in the event of the weapon being dropped or struck. We have a trigger modification for $150 that somewhat negates this safety issue by making it so the weapon can absolutely not go off when dropped or struck, assuming the safety is on.

Can't get that link to work, do you have a title for the post? I am a member of that site as well but no DIY came up under search for "trigger"

    thanks
