    PS90 Tactical Variations

The MFP Quad Rail allows many variations for converting the PS90 into a specific purpose gun. In this thread I'm going to post a series of photographs documenting the chameleon-like qualities by the use of this awesome accessory.
First up - The flat, heavy combat version,

Very nice and I think MPF may have a winner, The only thing is there any affect in not allowing the barrel to move?

MPF did alot of research on that very subject - check out what they say about it in the PS90 accessories section.
    Here's the other side,

Mueller 1-4x24 30mm scope, Streamlight TLR1-S light, Primary Arms green dot laser, LaRue FUG grip & Index Clips, US ERT Sling, PP 1.5 Butt Plate extension & more to come.

Very nice - I kinda want one of these - not to attach all sorts of accessories. But just to add a forward grip. However, I still have concerns about the barrel attachment factor...

This is a quote from MPF -

"Yes, it will lock the barrel.
The operation of the PS90 is unaffected since it is a blow-back operated system.
I have tested and tweaked the rail for over one year on two PS90's and have seen no degradation in operation or accuracy. Both PS90's shot about 1 1/2 to 2 moa (scoped) before the rail addition and the same after.

I think most people confuse the operation of the PS90 with the delayed blow-back design of the five-seven pistol."

Here with MPF top & side rails and a Burris 4.5-14x32. Despite the height with the PEPR Mount, it wasn't a jaw weld & the eye relief was good,

I have the same concern. Most assuredly I have no skin in the game here (other than being very enthusiastic about the PS90) so I'm just taking an objective view. The gun has floating barrel and MFP states that in testing the barrel (without the Quad Rail) moves .02" or so. After the Rail is added, that movement is blocked. Seems to me that though seemingly small, is a significant amount when you are talking about the stresses and speeds of a high speed rifle bullet and associated mechanical effects. That it likely violates the manufacturers warranty may say a bit as well.
Again, I'm a fan of MFP and like the rest of their products, but this one is troubling. Cool looking pix btw.
