Thank you Experiment28 & Merlin. Yes, I was frustrated things probably didn't come out like I wanted. I will try to be more understanding in the future. For those who tried t help, thank you. I will contact mjk1. So, just be clear, the only physical difference between the gen 2 and 3 is the hammer, colors be damned?

    Yes and no.

Read the first link that was provided for you so this will not turn into another hammer pack thread.

Why does the generation matter? I have a gen 3, going by everything I am seeing here (had my PS90 for about 6 years now). Just don't get why it matters or how it effects value.

    All the packs work great.

The difference in generations only matters to collectors or people with evil intentions.

If your serial number is @ FN063300 or above, it should be a Gen. 3 trigger pack!!!

Just out of curiosity, what is the going cost of a PS90 with a gen 2 trigger pack?

Really too many variables involved. Original Gen 1 or 2 pack? Aftermarket modified Gen 3 pack to a Gen 2 pack? How many rounds down the pipe... etc etc etc....

Some were paying about $1000 for an original Gen 1 or Gen 2 hammer pack only.

Functionally, there is no difference between a Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 pack as they all work the same. Pull the trigger and it goes bang. Release the trigger and it resets. Pull the trigger and it goes bang.

Now if your intentions are evil, then there are ways to violate the law very easily with a Gen 1 or Gen 2 pack.
