Back to my original post. I mailed all of my paperwork yesterday. Hopefully in 3 or so months I will have my tax stamp.

Also. I am planning on getting a CMMG barrel. Should I worry about headspace? Additionally, should I just keep the factory barrel as it is in case I want to put it back on at some point, or send it off to be cut down and have a spare.

Any other modifications I should think about? Thanks,

you could always sell your 16" barrel to help recover the cost of your new barrel. If you going to to look at the CMMG barrel you should also check out the PS90 SBR barrels offered by Stryker Enterprises. They have a really great barrel as well, it terrific. You can google Stryker Enterprises to get to their website.

I would go with the Stryker barrel or have Mark cut your original. Mark did both my ps90 barrels perfectly
