Here is how to adjust the Ring Sights.

How to Align the Sights on the FN PS90 Rifle Using the FN Sight Tool
Using the FN sight tool to align the sights on the FN PS90 rifle.

StepsSlide the allen wrench supplies through the sight tool with the short 90 degree section sticking out the top of the widened part of the spanner tool.

Carefully insert the allen wrench into the allen locking screw for the screw controlling the adjustment direction needed. This will be the vertical screw closest to the shooter for vertical adjustments, and the horizontal screw inside the sight riser for horizontal adjustments.

Once the allen wrench is securely seated into the allen locking screw, gently loosen the locking screw.

Turn the spanner tool to adjust the sight alignment of the ring sight.

Clockwise movement of the spanner tool will result in moving the bullet strike up and to the left depending on which adjusting screw is being turned. Counterclockwise rotation will result in the bullet strike moving downward, or to the right accordingly.

These adjustments are fairly coarse, so small movements are recommended.

Tighten the locking screw, and test fire the weapon to verify alignment. Repeat these steps as necessary to zero the firearm.

The adjustments on the Factory Ring Sight are fairly coarse, so use small corrections, test fire and repeat as necessary to zero the firearm
Note: The "adjustment tool" is an absolute waste of $60 or so hard-earned dollars. A 3mm metric allen, in conjunction with a standard choke tube wrench work perfectly fine using the above directions.

Warnings As always when working on any firearm, always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Never assume that the weapon is unloaded. Verify by removing the magazine, and checking the chamber area that the firearm is unloaded, and again always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

Things You'll NeedFN PS90 sight tool, or similar manufacture.

Yes. Just use an allen tool and a wide flat screwdriver or even a coin.
Sight tools are easier to use but anything will do.

Please add the "Green Dot Fiber Optic" to the title.

Here are the Three different Ring Sights for the PS90.
The Black Ring Sight is on the Left.
The White Ring Sight is in the middle.
The Green Dot Fiber Optic Ring Sight is on the right.

I disected a Green Dot Fiber Optic so everyone can see how it works and can compare it with the White Ring Sight and the Black Ring Sight.

This is the Green Dot Fiber Optic Ring Sight. (Top View) The Light collection circle is on top of the ring sight. It works great outdoors but has the same problem the White Ring Sight has in dim or low light conditions. (You can't see the dot)
    Green Dot top.jpg

    (bottom view)

Notice that there is NO rear light collection area.

I pried off the base plate so you can see what is underneath.
    REM T3GD 002.jpg
    A) is the Tritium.
    B) is the Fiber Optic line that connects to the Light collector. C) Base Plate (you can see a hole I drilled for the REM T3GD)

This is the sight picture outdoors. Nice white circle and T Bar with the Green Dot in the center.

This is the sight picture inside the house looking out a window. Notice how dim the circle became and you can't even see the green Dot.

This is the same sight picture with the REM T3GD turned on to illuminate the Dot.

This the sight picture inside the house in low light conditions. Again you can barely see the circle or dot.

This is the same sight picture with the REM T3GD turned on to setting #1
You can now see the dot.

This is the sight picture in total darkness. You can barely see the dot via the Tritium.

This is the sight picture in total darkness with the REM T3GD turned on to setting #1

For anyone interested in the REM T3GD illuminator please go here.

This new sight seems to be a better design with your unit as it illuminates the center dot and not the just the night site T

I have a stupid question but since I'm relatively new to firearms and just picked up my PS90 tonight I have to ask. How do you install the FN green fiber optic sight? If you know of any instructions online can you post a link since I can't seem to find any?

    Welcome!!!

The green optic is a complete optic in itself.

You would remove the optic from the receiver, via the two mounting/adjustment screws, then put it in it's place.

Allen wrench, and flat blade screwdriver.

    Quite simple.

From what I can figure out, trying to find the answer on the magic viewing box...

Reticle subtension, seems to be the amount of area of the traget that the reticle covers up.
