I agree that monovision is a compromise. But what I find strange is that the USSS sight worked for the farsighted eye but not the nearsighted eye. I would have thought the reverse. Most of us older folks are farsighted, I just wanted to put out there that this is a good sight for them.
Also one more thing I forgot to add is I agree that one does not need a fancy sight adjustment tool. You only need a 3mm alan wrench. Once you loosen the 3mm set screw you can EASILY turn the outer spanner adjustment with your fingers. As mentioned before, make VERY SMALL ADJUSTMENTS!
