Just got a PS90 Standard. Should have gotten the Triple Rail. Can I convert?

    Just got a PS90 Standard. Should have gotten the Triple Rail. Can I convert?

    Hey guys, just picked up a PS90 in Standard and wishing I would have gotten the Triple Rail option instead as I like the lower profile-ness of it. What in the heck is the advantage of the Standard Rail over the Triple Rail anywhere, or is there none? Why did FN make the Standard rail seemingly unnecessarily taller than the Triple Rail one?

    Anyway I could buy or trade my Standard rail for a Triple Rail?

    The Standard rail is taller as it houses BIS. I am fairly certain the TR has none. I have a Standard as well and after purchasing an EOTech I am going to be replacing the rail with a flatter rail and hopefully add the two side rails. I believe this site, Promoted Pawn: For PS90 , is a forum sponsor and has some good conversion parts.

    No the tri-rail is still lower. But the rail Promoted Pawn sells is the lowest rail you'll find for a standard PS90. It also has BUIS.

    Left is a tri-rail, right is the old white reticle optic, which has the same receiver as the standard.

    You could also put one of the factory optics on it, one of the TROS mounts, or a FN C-more mount.

    the standard I just recieved came with the picatinny rail & a factory optic , I removed the rail & put the optic on , I like it has the green fiber optic (day) & tritium for night
