Like the title says. Just got a PS90 and REALLY want to convert it to a SBR by trimming the barrel size. The fact that doing so only costs $74 (minus tax stamps and those shenanigans) makes it a no-brainer: PS90 barrel, cut and thread to P90 specs - hi-desertdog.com - (Powered by CubeCart)
Question is: I'm all confused about how to do it. Read a lot about the process on line but it just confused me more. Something about doing it under a corporation or trust seems to be the way so you don't need your chief of police to sign off on it. I already have an LLC so I could put it under that. Question is, what else do I have to do to make it legal so I don't have the possibility of getting thrown in jail for a year?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, no SBRs in the California.
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
I wanted that as well, and was prepared to invest substantially more than $74, but unfortunately no SBR for us in Sunny California, and no threaded barrels either.
Period.
There is no legal workaround that I am aware of.
Wow. Bummer.
I take it if I got the Chief of Police for a nearby city to sign off on it though, the ATF or DOJ would approve it, right? My network is wide and perhaps some day it will be wide enough to pull that off so I'm just curious. And would it have to be the COP for the city I live in, or COB for any city in the state?
