PS90 TR a premium?

Why is the PS90 TR Item#3848950060 priced at a premium of a few hundred dollars more then the standard? I would assume it would be cheaper due to not coming with an optic, but everywhere I look it is priced 100-300 more than the standard.

The best price I've found so far is Here, and There

Those were best online deals I could find, which is significantly less then the higher end I've seen. Has anyone seen a new PS90 TR in black for less? From my research these seem to be rather good prices, and the websites are accredited with the BBB fairly high.

Once I locate the best deal, I just got a few things left to take care of before ordering.

Can't say for sure. maybe it's because the factory optic sucks on the standard and they know people want a TR so they can mount their own optic choice on it. Supply and demand. I have checked my usual sources and those prices beat mine, sometimes by over a C-note.

Someone might chime in with a better source.

My PS90 TR was $1349 at Gander Mountain Sports in VA about six months ago. It was on sale but it was not the only time it has gone on sale at that price. Another member here got if not the exact same deal then a very similar deal there recently. If you wait it out, they will drop it down to that again. The "normal price" is ridiculous there, 2149 I believe, but again, they cut it down on these one to two day sales and that is your best option to buy.

Charles at A&A has PS90 TR for $1500 right now. That's the best deal I can find as I'm in the market too. Plus Charles is a hell of a guy and will treat you right.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I might have to give the local Gander Mountain a call and see if they have one available on sale. Either way I'll continue shopping around.

The one available at A&A is the Olive Drab. The black model states back ordered and being discontinued. I might have to PM Charles here, or give the site a call and see if one could possibly be ordered.
