Hi guys, first post. I just got a PS90 last week and took it to the range for the first time yesterday and I had some questions for some more experienced users. I ran into a problem about 80 rds through the gun where it started jamming. I noticed that if I ever set the gun down and something touched the barrel, the next time I shot it would fail to properly chamber a round. It seemed like the round was properly seated and partially inserted into the barrel but the bolt would simply not push it all the way forward as if it were getting stuck on something. There was no resistance manually inserting the round into the barrel or removing it. By the way, I followed the instructions to prep the carbine for first use and was using fn ammunition with the factory magazine.
Also, I have an Eotech 512 on it and it required significant (read: most of the available elevation and windage clicks) to zero it at 50 yards. It's a factory triple rail so I was pretty surprised. Any ideas what's wrong/what I'm doing wrong?
Welcome!!!
Check the action rods, little bit of lube. Check the extractor and ejector on the bolt face. Make sure they move freely.
Do a general cleaning anyway.

The EOTech is not ideal for the PS90 TR. I tried that route at first, too. You would be much better off with a cheap sight than one that has to be adjusted so much and causes you to engage in the annoying practice of "chin weld." I replaced my EOTech with a micro reflex sight from Primary Arms for something like 80 bucks. Much better suited to the TR. If you want the good stuff, you could look into a Trijicon RMR or some folks have suggested the Insight MRDS. There is also the JPoint, the Docter, etc. Basically all the same thing, just differences in quality and manufacturer. If you are just taking her to the range, though, save your money and buy the Primary Arms for <$100.
Regarding the failures to feed, you are probably just riding the bolt home after picking it back up. If you ride the bolt home even the TINIEST bit, the PS90 WILL fail to feed all the way. Make sure you slingshot that sucker from the far rearward reach of the weapon.
Did it fail with more than one magazine?
At the moment I have only one magazine but that will be remedied this Friday.
I had a round chambered when I set the gun down (on safe). I picked it up and shot one round and then it jammed so unless I'm misunderstanding what you were saying, I don't think that was the case. I was also using the polymer tipped rounds and it appeared that the tip had been sheared off of two of them, yet the round was mostly loaded into the barrel.
Nevermind then. I thought you were putting it down with an empty chamber. My mistake.
If you remove the base plate and disassemble the mag, does the follower feel like it sticks inside the mag body?
