I gotta say, it's one thing to see the nicks in the ejection well and to utilize velcro as a fix, but to see the hammer pack like that scares me.Originally Posted by ninthinning

I used the same tape that you see on ladders to provide slip resistance. 3M makes this one. you can get it at Home Depot. The only thing I noticed, and this fixed itself, if that the trap door has a spring loaded pin that allows it to snap onto the trigger pack. This pin now has to travel across this tape and it gets/got scraped a little. That is the mark you see on the tape. this gun is unfired. Also, the trap door only has the tape in the middle channel. The higher ridges I opted to leave alone figuring the probability of spent brass hitting it was rather low as it has less surface area.

I have not noticed any impact/case marks on mine, but I might throw some tape on there to limit any possible issues.
I'm going to use a scrap of clear bra from 3M.
