What's the "other pattern" referred to as, Danny?

Unfortunately, it appears that anything made out of AOR1 or AOR2 is also made of a 50/50 Unobtainium weave.

Apparently this German company is selling a replica AOR2 pattern called 'SOCOM"... and if you look hard enough on ebay, I know you can find the real deal ;)

Looks like that would be a pretty good forest/jungle camo.Originally Posted by Kalmar

I don't mean to drag this thread more off topic, but I just have to point out one thing: Most people don't realize these different camo's are all in fact the very same pattern.
MARPAT, ACU, CADPAT, AOR1/2 and the new Navy utilities are all from the same four screen pattern. ACU only uses 3 colors and layers while MARPAT and AOR utilize all four.
The new Army UCP-Delta is again the same pattern this time adding the fourth layer to introduce Coyote Brown into the uniform.
Yes it looks like puke, better hope Multicam wins the contract for the next Army camouflage. [/img]
If memory serves, CADPAT, MARPAT, and UCP are all the exact same pattern, just with different colors (and obviously UCP is only three colors).
I'm not at all surprised that AOR and the Navy Utilities are the same. (But hadn't heard so, anywhere.)
As a side-note, I'm mostly looking for the Crye-stuff in AOR2, as temperate MARPAT pattern works rather well out here and I love my RG Crye combat trousers (the shirt not so much). If I just wanted the pattern, I would simply buy some MCCUUs! :P
(Also: That Bushveldt pattern looks rather interesting....)
