That's not bad at all. Just looks like a little dirt. Heck, for $500 cheaper than most, I would definitely take one![]()

Yeah man, you can't go wrong with that purchase. If you're actually going to use the thing, it's going to just look like it was loved on the range. No harm in that.![]()
Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have. -R.R.
I think it looks horrible. Absolutely terrible. Just disgusting.Originally Posted by Orion6

Great buy on your SCAR!
I got one of the first SCARs in my neck of the woods and paid way more for it than you did!
Mine is a shooter and not a safe queen so I would have been happy paying way less and have the slight blems!![]()

Congrats on the new scar, I sent my money order out yesterday so I should have mine by the weekend if I'm lucky. Can't wait ill deffinitly be hitting the range if I do
Awesome man. Unless you're really anal about things (probably not or you wouldn't have bought it) you're getting a new SCAR at a reasonable price (relatively speaking).Originally Posted by devilmoon

Is the "*" stamped on the left rear of the upper receiver only on the blem SCARs?
No big deal. I did not recall that mentioned in the blem threads. I shot my blem 16S today with the BUIS and my ECOS FDE Trijicon. It shot well at 100m. No problems whatsoever.Originally Posted by Orion6
I also have a SCARred:
You really need to be looking for the discoloration to notice it. Regarding the important stuff, it did nicely at 50yd and 100yd at the range yesterday with iron sights. I love the ability to adjust both elevation *and* windage on the front sight to set your zero. I'm still tweaking the front post elevation settings but at 100yd my groups were really well aligned horizontally.
