Would be nice to know a little more info about that, looks like something I would like to try out.
Looks very similar to what Troy was working on.

I emailed him asking if he can make the handle with a downward slope to avoid optic interference, but have not heard back yet..
No sure I see the big advantage to this. Does this handle have a "swivel" in it that allows it to move slightly if it gets caught on your chest gear?
Obviously it is shaped differently, but is that it?
It is shaped just like the factory stock SIG 556 charging handle.
It must be so SIG 556 users can feel right at home with their SCARs...![]()
Probably offers more grip purchase, indexes to your finger better, versus the round tube shaped FN version....
I agree they need to cant it down to clear optics mounts so you don't smash, crunch or pinch your fingers...we've seen this movie before!
How would this charging handle fare as a forward assist though?
May God grant us the wisdom to discover the right, the will to choose it, and the strength to make it endure.
Can't you just use a 3" flat head machine screw of the right diameter and bend it into the shape you want?

It should all be made from a strong = non breakable metal. It should work on both the left and right side and it should be an improvement on what already exist.
It should fix a problem that exists .
In other words, fix things that need to be fixed, or could be improved upon !!!
I am all for aftermarket products but not if they don't do anything ?
