All three of these rifles have stocks that fold and slide. In fact, the SIG has the longest stock (when slid completely in) than either of the others.Originally Posted by Keith D.
That's the SIG on the right, and the SCAR on the left. The stock is about a half-inch longer on the SIG. The SCAR does have a bit of receiver in front of the stock and behind the grip though, so the overall length of the SIG and SCAR are within a tenth of an inch of each other, despite the shorter stock on the SCAR. This picture illustrates it better:
The grips are in exactly the same spot, and the triggers are very nearly in the same spot. The SCAR's trigger is slightly to the rear of the SIG's.
Above is the SCAR compared to the ACR. You'll see a very noticeable difference in position of the grip and trigger. The ACR is significantly shorter. Forward of the receiver things even out a bit, but by the end of the barrel the overall length of the ACR is roughly a quarter of an inch shorter than both of the others.
Other things, obviously, contribute to the "bulkiness" of a rifle, and personal preference for length of pull and stuff like that are, well, personal preferences. Owning and having shot all three, I'd say the differences are close enough that they really don't matter. Prospective buyers should try out all three, and pick the one that fits them the best. Keep in mind also that very few people are ninjas who need or would even benefit from minor differences that even "operators" wouldn't likely notice.
All three are great rifles that most people would be very satisfied with! Assuming you don't get a lemon, of course...

David Slam,
Thanks for the comparison of those firearms.
How many rounds do you have through each?
Thanks Again

I'd say about 1,000 through both of my SIGs added together, mostly because I've had them the longest; about 600 through the SCAR, and perhaps 400 through the ACR. Not a huge amount through any single one, and not under any adverse conditions, but for what it's worth I haven't had a single malfunction in any of the four.
