Anybody Got Pics of a SCAR with all 3 Short Rails Removed?

I'm wondering what they look like without the side and under rails. For shooting matches, it might be the best thing going with that extra weight off of the front end. If anybody has taken the rails off, can you post pics and also give your impressions of how the feel/ handling changes, if at all?

I think a SCAR without rails might handle and point even quicker. Here is a photochop of one dyed OD green, barrel chopped to 13.5" plus perm attached compensator with no rails.

If you take the rails off the sides they leave big holes in the upper. Ive been there before.....

Isn't the bottom rail attached to the barrel assembly?

The rear of the rail is to the barrel extension but the front screws to a "U" shaped piece on the upper....

I picked up a SCAR finally and did yank off the side rails. The holes are pretty small and I will eventually get the two that are left covered. It is much more hand friendly and a little bit lighter up front now.

    Hi

How exactly did you get the rails off?? The screws don't seem to want to come out???
