Originally, I had mounted the scope with a pair of Warne Maxima Tactical rings that were tall enough to clear the BUIS. However, these mounts were a real PITA to use -- they have this separate part, a key to engage the 1913 rail, which makes it a bit of a fiddle to keep the part in, sandwich the scope, and drive in eight separate torx screws to hold the rings together. Then when I used the rings, the scope walked backwards under recoil, even though I torgued them with a Warne factory torque wrench. So I ditched those rings.
I reinstalled the original Nightforce Ultralight rings that I bought from the Nightforce dealer when I bought the scope. I haven't had any problems with scope movement since....
