Scar 16s in 7.62x39?
I was browsing through Hi-Desertdog's website and came across a page for a 16s in 7.62 Russian. I was unaware that they came in this configuration. Are these really being produced by FN or is this an aftermarket conversion? If it is a true factory production model, how hard are they to get one? FNH website makes no mention of the 16 in this caliber.

That is an aftermarket product. I hope whoever made it made it work better then the AR conversions.

I feel the 7.62x39 also 5.45x39 are best left to the AKs&SKS rifles FN with 5.56 and .308 are correct for the SCARs.

Sig did that with their rifle and the feedback was horrible
Just like what I said about the 5.7 ar upper, if you want one, buy an AK or PS90 !!

Not to hijack a thread, but are there any aftermarket 6.8Spc barrels and bolts in the future?
