SCAR 16S w/14.5" Barrel & Pinned ACC Blackout Assistance

I've finally decided on getting my first FN...a SCAR 16S. I thought long and hard between 16S or 17S and actually decided on a 16S...as it seemed to be the premier shooter. Thought harder on the more expensive ammo and shooting I actually do and decided its going to be a 16S. Either purchase was going to be chopped to ~14.5" and have an ACC Blackout pinned to it (I'd go shorter but don't feel like waiting on paperwork any more). I just think the SCAR looks perfect that way. I've seen pics of all kinds of chopped SCARs and was looking for assistance on who to approach to do the actual barrel work. I'm no smith and want to make sure its done properly. Like with any barrel I'm worried about the crown but in particular with the SCAR's chrome-lined barrel. I've seen some have flaking issues and I want none of that. If you guys can point me in any good directions or have any contacts that have actually chopped SCARs I would much appreciate it.

Does anyone know/have the length of the std 16s muzzle brake/FH?

The factory FN provided PWS FSC556 muzzle brake measures - 2.33" (59.2mm)

That is correct. It depends on what flash hider/comp you put on it. If you go with the AAC black out, you could chop to 14.0 since the Blackout is more than 2 inches long, have it perm pinned and you would be good to go. I am trying to stick with the standard military SCAR barrel length for the MK16 which is 14.0.

The AAC BLACKOUT 18t and 51t are 2.5" long, but only add 1.875" to the barrel. So you can only get the barrel chopped to 14.126" w/ perm attached blackout and have a OAL barrel length of 16.01"

Those figures come to a sum = 16.001". To be safe, I would add .100" to the bbl chop length...
