Can't offer an opinion on the Handle or X Products, but the SEAL is good to go right out of the box. Pricey? Yes. Long wait time? Definitely, but the product works out of the box, no fitness issues. Also like the curved trigger guard.

I have the Handl magnesium lower and Geiselle Super Scar trigger.
I love the lower, I love the use of Sr mags, everything is great about it but.......it is really tight in my upper.
I need to slam the hell out of the lower to punch it forward into the upper.
I may find the tight spot and massage it in or just wait for it to clearance itself, not sure yet.
One other small thing......I don't like how the captive spring for the rear takedown pin doesn't fully seat.
It's almost like it will fall out on it's own if your not watching it.
I'm sure a dremel tool could open the pocket up a little to allow for more room, but shouldn't need to at the price it sells for.
    Performance wise, Handl is awesome.

In the first pic you can see the spring clip in the pocket that grabs the front takedown pin (not rear).
The pocket is not cut deep enough for the clip's legs so the spring clip doesn't fully engage the pin.....but it will not fall out.
Maybe it will fall out if cycling the pin with the lower disassembled from the upper, I didn't want to try it and loose the clip.

The second pic shows witness marks on the rear engagement tang of the lower where the ceracoat is worn off.
I fixed this by gently rubbing this spot with a fine jewelers file. Just enough to need a little punch to engage it enough for the takedown pin to drop in.

I'm still very happy with this lower.

P.S. These pics are clickable for the full size image.

SEAL is great lower and the craftsmanship is great. The downside is the long wait but in my opinion it is worth the wait.

Maybe I'm just wrong (just ask the ex), but why spend the $$$ on a new lower? For the price of a new lower you can have several FN mags and not mess with the rifle. I've a Timney trigger and would not trade it for any of the rest.

I like using magazines designed for the rifle by the manufacturer.

I bought 2 Scar 17s a few years ago. I had dozens of PMAGs, KAC, Larue ect mags so I picked up 2 Handl lowers. The fit was very tight, after a quick "break in" period I didn't have any issues with them. I asked myself why I went through the trouble when I couldve just sold my mags and got FN mags. FN put a lot of work into making the Scar platform one, if not the most reliable tactical rifles on the market today. Why mess with it? The way I look at it, the further you deviate from the original design the more you open yourself up to possible issues. It was a PITA, but I switched them both back out to the stock setup and couldn't be happier.
