who's taking pre-orders
anyone suggest a dealer who's taking pre-orders? I called a few and said they wont take any because they have no idea when they will be in...they all suspect in about 5-6 months..Im hearing on here they should be available by next month..

What I suspect is dealers would like to partake of any type of CRAZE there might be when the 17S comes out.
They are hoping for something similar to the crazy early 16S $ numbers.
That is why they don't want to take pre-orders.
However, I don't think there will be such a thing. Sure they'll sell for a bit more than MSRP, but I personally 308 battle rifles are a smaller niche than 5.56 AR competitors.
Also, the 16S craze coincided with the election of our fearless leader...
And everything gun related went nuts!

My dealer did, but he only ordered two. One for me, and one for him. Price tbd.....
