FN-SCAR 17S MAGAZINES
Bear with me, this is my first post. Just got a SCAR-16S a week ago, I love it. One question though, can any other .308 mags be used in the 17S or are the FN brand mags the only ones you can use. thanx in advance for any reply.

Magpul makes one specifically enhanced for the SCAR series. I use them and they fit and function like they were made together.

FN are the only mags in existence today that fit in an unmodified scar 17. That is all.

My Thermold mags fit very well indeed.....

Thermolds will fit- but they aren't as accurate.

I stand corrected. Thermolds are definately a viable option. How about :
"FN are the only metal mags in existence today that fit in an unmodified scar 17. That is all. "
