Just posted this in a different thread but then i saw the "official price thread"
I picked up a FDE 17s right between 2500 and 3000 on gunbroker.com last week.
I was going to be buying a sr-25 emc before i decided on the 17s so to me this was a good price.

Couldn't resist anymore and ended up paying $2900 on GB with $50 S&H for the FDE model, I swear its an OD green upper, FDE lower and Tan stock, we are talking a 'coat' of many colors here!
Did get some swag with it though, t-shirt, two stickers, key chain fob '16s' and an FN baseball cap! Can't wait to go out to the range and exercise it a bit! Now need to find a good optic, sling, more mags and and and............. FOOD for the beast, affordable .308, hah..... J

Mine shipped today from TGSCOM. I placed the order in April. It is black and the cost, shipped was $2550.

Checked the Dallas GT Distributor store last week, price is still around $2400 but they only have black, both 16s and 17s. I need me a tan...

I got my Black 17 on GB for $2600.75 + $30.00 shipping. Then had it shipped to an out of state FFL to get the muzzle break pinned/welded and the stock pinned so it wouldn't collapse or fold. Then it was finally "legal" to bring into my BS AWB state. I picked it up at the local FFL, transfer fees, shipping out the door at roughly $2,800. Not bad considering I had $130.00 in work done to it to make it AWB legal and jumped through all those hoops.
BTW the local shops in town were selling AWB ready 17's for $3,200 + tax!!!! One place was even more!!! They were just ripping people off those stinking bastages!!!! I think that they have come down to $3,000 + tax now LOL. This is why I went through all of this leg work. I saved big $$ over getting it locally, just took some patience and yep she's mine!!!
