Sarge asked me to compare SCARZILLA to Son of SCARZILLA:
Here you go, FN Nation - SCARZILLA is on top, and it is bigger and stronger to be able to handle 7.62mm thumping:Originally Posted by SgtStrykerUSMC43

I owe you another one for this Clyde. From the pictures, I'll bet the uppers [chassis] is longer on the 17S as opposed to the 16S - forward of the ejection port. Yes?
I don't think it's elongated to the rear though.
07/02 SOT Manufacturer, Suppressors, NFA Firearms, and everything else COOL!
Fire control group the same?
thanks for the pics![]()

This shot may show it best, without me mirroring the two uppers (I am not about to start remounting/realigning/resetting scopes...sorry, fellas).
And I am not about to take apart the fire control group...that is a job for Sarge.
I ain't tearing down my new 17S...I haven't even shot it yet...!![]()
This is with the two uppers resting on end evenly on the workbench.
Picture's worth a thousand words....
Please don't ask me to do any math, either, okay?
Long day today fixing other people's problems, and my brain is mush....![]()
And besides, my answers will only confuse everyone!![]()
Oh, and Dan, before you ask, the charging handles appear to be the same.![]()

A pic looking inside the lowers would suffice![]()
rough day, eh?
Mine was pretty decent for a change.
Wouldn't expect you to pull fire control group apart![]()

OK, Dan, I will get you a picture, but tomorrow, okay? I'm bushed.
I would shoot one now, but I just wiped down the guns and put them back together.
I know, dropping the lower (sorry, FN...trigger module) is easy, but it's late.
Yeah, I had a Monday Tuesday. Two new F'N nightmare projects....

Thank you again Clyde.![]()
The picture is worth 1000 words. The only thing I can't determine is the position of the ejection port. Is the rear of the port in the same place on both weapons, relative to the rearmost point (where the buttstock attaches)?
You don't have to take another picture.

Based off of these pics, I'm thinking no? as the 16s bolt is further back (just a guess). I'm kinda having a hard time wrapping my mind around it right nowOriginally Posted by Clyde
