17s and SR-25(DPMS) mag size comparison
If anyone out there could compare the FNH 17s mag to the SR-25, or a DPMS, or similar.
I'm looking at dimensions for mag pouches for the 17s.
Of course I'm holding out for an FDE one. But if I must. I'll buy black. Just getting some textile goodies now.

If you happen to find FAL pouches, those would probably be the best.
Or, if anyone has FAL mags and SR-25/DPMS mags to compare, would be pretty much the same comparison.-Dan

They should work just fine, and in a pinch [if you can find one] the WWII BAR belt pouches will work great for carrying two in each pouch. Originally Posted by 762hurts

LA police gear has some M14 mag pouches on clearance right now (I think they're Blackhawk). Those should work too.

Anybody got a 17s and have a AR-10 type?
