SCAR/H on the cover of Sept. 2010 Tactical Weapons magazine!
The SCAR/H made the cover of the September 2.010 issue of Tactical Weapons magazine. Funny thing about the colors though, it's a mix of FDE and black. The inside pictures are all of FDE's though.
There's a nice writeup regarding the FN SCAR Heavy MK17 and its use by the Office of Air & Marine air crews. That seems to be the U.S. Customs Border Protection along the border of Mexico. They use it mounted in choppers for Air Disabling Fire according to the article.

Yeah, picked that up last week. I thought the cover was weird though.

I have the same mag. The cover looks like two colors, but it is just bad lighting on the shot, or bad printing, or maybe both.
After all, we know these are not two tone rifles (although if you have one of each color you can make it that way for that "Smokey and the Bandit" black and gold look)...!
Cool article though. Customs/ICE is not playing around in the desert now....
Of course, rifle on helicopters don't really work too well against tunnels....

I dig the rifle mounts with buffers for Rotary hover shots. Pretty amazing how accurate these guys, and the Coasties are with these intervention-type weapons on moving targets.

Yeah picked up my copy last week as well. Only had time to page through it but it looks to be a good article. Been spending too much of my reading time stuck in a Robert Ludlum novel.

Wish AAC had the above pics Blackout MITER mount in 18T available, or that they would sell the Appropriate 762-SD-H Can for it.
At least have the new 51T can, but offer a MITER type other than just 5.56.
The above photo is nice! But I hate looking at that Barrel knowing I cannot get it.
