I think that has got to be FNF rule.
Must put your target on to the window and take a photo of it, rule.

I started this thread over at the 16s and it is really helpful.
Trying to find out what ammo your gun loves is sometimes as hard as trying to find out "what's wrong" with your wife/girlfriend![]()
I always find it a pain in the butt trying to find out which ammo my new gun loves. Actually the FNAR and Sig556 were my two biggest PITA.
Post up your results and which ammo you used(MFG, Grain, groups at what yards, optics). Pictures will greatly help
Example of the 16s Results:
PRVI, 55gr, see pic,Leup vxI 3-9x40
Hornady 223 75gr tap precision, see pic, Leup VX 1 3-9x40 I ran out of PRVI 55gr to compare
Prvi 55gr see pic, xps 2/Iron sites, 50ydsIt was frigid and windy so don't bust my balls on groups.

January 2017 OBAMA will leave, with nothing left behind.
Two reasons for lack of pics, they are kinda embarrassing, the gun shoots better than me, and I didn't want to wait for a ceasefire at a busy range to go grab the targets, it's a long walk and it was cold (uphill both ways)
(100 yrds)
Anyway, groups of 3-4 were about 0.75" (most groups of 5 ended up with me totally being off by 6" or so on one shot, knowing I screwed up the shot).
Two other people shooting my gun had ~1" groups as well.
Used two types of ammo, no noticeable difference in accuracy:
Prvi - 168 Gr Softpoint
Prvi - 165 Gr Hollow Point Match.
Pretty happy with that, I promise to retrieve targets next time![]()
Good enough. My main reason was to help Noobs and me figure out what ammo these guns preferSecond reason....I frickin love Gun porn

Took the Scar 17 out today but only had about an hour and a half or so before the sun set. It was very clear and unfortunately I was forced to shoot into the setting sun with a shiny front sight post...fun. The wind was only about 10 mph. I shot Hornady 150g SST, British Radway 147g FMJ, Federal 150g FMJ, and Privi 145g FMJ. These groups were shot from 100 yards shooting west with a north crosswind and I am only an average shot. I placed my money on the Hornady ammo, but the Privi actually out performed it. I look forward to getting some glass to get some more solid results. The Scar shot low and a good foot to the right, out of the box. I adjusted the front sight down about 4 turns and had to move the front site to last tick mark on the right. So most of my time was spent adjusting the front site to get it zeroed. I would definitely recommend the privi for some cheap reloadable and accurate ammo. Sorry about the huge hornady pic...first time uploading and can't get it to adjust.
Federal...pretty sure the HUGE group was my fault

RANGE REPORT!!!
Zeroed at 100 Yards, using a sandbag and my fist as a rear prop, shooting 168 gr Sierra Match King, 5 shot groups, here are the results:
200 Yard shots were made after turning the elevation knob to the 200 yard BDC setting, no other adjustments.

The group pictured in the first picture was shot with my SCAR 17s configured as follows: Fed GM Match 168 , NightForce 2.5x10x24 NXS, Shot at 100 yds off Harris bi-pod, rear bag rest. My first three shots were all grouped together within 1". I pulled the fourth shot high and left, then was able to bring the fifth shot back to the group.
The 10 shot group in the second picture was also shot from a bi-pod and rear bag rest rapid fire (5.89 on my Pact timer) with a Trijicon TA33GH and IMI TZ80 147 Ball at 100 yds. The TA33GH has the 5.56 reticle. I'm planning on sending it back to Trijicon to have the .308 cross hair reticle installed.
I have shot the rifle at 300,500,and 650 yds at the target below with the NightForce installed and when applying the propper dope to the scope had no trouble hitting the steel. The target is 18"x31".

Never argue with stupid people. It brings you down to their level, then they beat you with experience!
Some more target picks. Shot with a tango down bi-pod. Three different scopes as noted on the targets. The DAG were 10 round groups, the FGMM was a 5 shot group.
