It is not necessary to completely disassemble entire moving parts assembly for hasty application of lubricant.It is recommended that the operator take into accountenvironmental and operational conditions prior to disassembling entire moving parts assembly.
Now tools you will need:

Lubricants you will need:
CLP
Step 1: Unload weapon and visually check chamber to verify weapon is not hot
step 2: Physically stick your finger in chamber to verify WEAPON IS NOT HOT
step 3: Removing lower:
- press front pin of lower out
-give it a good wack on the back with the force directed toward muzzle
Remove lower
step 4: Remove buttstock
-it slides right off
step 5: Remove Guide rod
-should fall right out
Step 6: Remove bolt carrier
-Bolt should slide out back of receiver.
- remove charing handle to remove bolt completely
step 7: Remove cam pin on bolt
step 8: Remove bolt from bolt carrier
Here are the instructions for oiling:
lubrication: CLP MIL-L-63460
definition:
Generous lubrication: Thick enough you can spread it with your finger
Light lubrication: film of oil just barely visible to eye
(a) Generous lubrication on extractor and ejector.
Manipulate each part to work in the lubrication.
that means work the plunger with a small screw driver or your finger to get that oil in there nice and deep like
(b) Light lubrication on bolt body.
(c) Generous lubrication on bolt cam pin and bolt cam pin
slot.
(d) Generous lubrication on bolt carrier contact points(with rail)
and bottom of bolt carrier.
(e) Generous lubrication on bolt carrier.
(f) Generous lubrication on return spring.
(g) Light lubrication in charging handle holes.
When cleaning I also recommend removing rear pin and cleaning firing pin wit brush soaked in CLP. Wipe away CLP and reinstall
Receiver:
It is not necessary to lubricate exterior aluminum
surfaces.
(a) Generous lubrication on all receiver guide rails and bolt carrier riding surfaces.
(b) light lubrication on iron sights and screw heads in order to prevent rust.
(c) Light lubrication on exterior barrel surface in order to prevent rust.
Lower:
(a) Light lubrication on hammer, hammer spring, and hammer spring guide.
(b) Light lubrication on hammer pin and trigger pin.
(c) Generous lubrication on selector lever detent.
(d) Light lubrication on trigger/sear area including disconnector. Caution: DO NOT let hammer slam into lower when pressing trigger!
Buttstock:
Do not oil anything on buttstock. If needed use a brush and compressed air to clean out inside.
Cautiono not lubricate bore and chamber for normal use. Do not lubricate gas piston, gas regulator, or gas regulator housing.

I think its kind of redundant to lube the rails when you lube the bolt riding surfaces. So just so you know people I think its safe to say either or will work
I lube both surfaces - I view the mating surfaces in the same manner as babbitt bearings.
