SCAR 17 aftermarket grips?

Awesome! They look perfect and I've always loved the feel of Hogue grips -- put one on my Five-seveN. Did you buy them from hi-desertdog? Also, did you get the one with the storage compartment? Will it hold one or two 7.62 rounds? That's really what I'd like to put in there so I have one or two emergency backup rounds.

In ref to the ergo grips they are like the m16 grips only made to fit the scar. check the forum there is a member on here that has posted a picture of it.

I did get them from hi-desertdog.com. They don't have the storage compartment. Very comfortable. I put hogues on all my weapons.

I have a MAGPUL on my 16 and ERGO on my 17. Both required fitting to work but it's not hard and it's worth it!

I put a MIAD on my scar a couple days ago. I really didn't feel like busting out the dremel since I always go crazy with it and figured I would remove to much material. So I use a couple of files instead and it only took about 10-15 minutes to get it to fit my lower receiver. I also like the MIAD because I store my front sight tool in one of the storage holes inside the grip compartment.

got a email a week ago from ergo grips. they said thier grips they are making for the scar are aimed to be on sale on their site either the week of shot show or the week right after.

Why do all of these companies talk about Scar products or show pictures of prototypes? Months/years go by and there is nothing? I have been checking Ergo's website all of this last week and........nada!

I just put on the ergo sure grip. There is a slight gap between the grip and rifle but it's not noticeable when shooting.

i have the ergo on my 17 the mod is so simple not worth paying the extra $ for the ergo thats modded already it took me 10 min to do.
