    SCAR 17 aftermarket grips?

Hey guys, does anyone know of a list which shows which AR grips will fit onto the SCAR 17 without modification, along with a list of which aftermarket grips that are designed for the SCAR 17 are out there? I'd like to replace my stock grip.

Tangodown, Magpul, many others. Most will fit with minor modification...dremel. Doesn't sound as bad as it seems.

Exactly. No matter which grip you choose, they all work with a slight amount of elbow grease applied.

Thats great news, ERGOs are my grip of choice... do you know if they are going to be similar to the original AR style grips or are they doing something else?

From my experience the magpul needs modification. I found that the TD BG-17 requires no modifications at all.

Now that I think about it though, I'll be at the SHOT Show, which is only about a week away, so maybe I should wait until then and just pick up a new grip while I'm there?

The SHOT show is kind of hit-or-miss when it comes to buying items. Most vendors bring only examples of their wares, and are not there to sell. Some do tend to get rid of stuff on the last day so that they don't have to pack it for a return trip, but most attendees have talked to the vendors and reserved their choice of items for last-day pick up. Some vendors are actually bringing extra stock for sales on the floor, at least thats the trend I'm seeing. If you have the time to wait, it's worth a try, but don't go in expecting to buy anything on the spot.
