New scope idea for SCR17

unfortunately, no jobs there for me, will most likely live in Durango CO and work in NM Farmington area or Santanafe, 30 minute drive everyday back and forth but hell its worth it if I can kill elk in my backyard, found a few home with 30+ Acres at a reasonable price

Snow shoes in hand I marched the 400 yards from the gate to the range today
zeroed the PFI scope at 100 yards, with American eagle 168.
shot out to 400 yards on steel; luckily with all of the snow I could see bullet impact on the snow, my first 3 shots on the 400 yard target were 1 moa right and 1 moa-ish low, So I zeroed the PFI scope at 400yards then proceeded to come back to the 100 yard, 300 and 200 were spot on but the 100 I was 2 inches high, 400 is as far as could go on this range, have to wait until spring to get out farther, but all in all the scope works.

I might attribute the 400 and 100 yard discrepancy do to the 16 inch barrel? my guess is PFI ran this scope out of 21-26 inch barrels when they made this reticle


also ran the Modified Steel FAL Mag, worked perfect
