Elcan Specter Dr -or- Eotech EXPS3-0 & new G33 magnifier on SCAR17??

OK guys! I may have an opportunity to pick up a used Elcan for my 17. Currently, I have an Eotech EXPS 3-0 on it and am considering adding the NEW G33 magnifier. (just announced @ the SHOT SHOW!) EOTech « Tactical Fanboy I would have to find the difference in cash to buy the Elcan & would sell my Eotech to fund the rest.
So....my dilemma is: do I just add the magnifier or sell the Eotech & buy the Elcan? WHY? Currently, the (2) ranges I belong to ONLY go to 300yds. Would like to shoot further, but as of now, thats it. Otherwise, I need to drive afew hours out-of-state.

Oh sh*t, I dunno...

Seriously now, if you're only stretching to 300, you should be fine with what you have without magnifier. If you want to shoot farther, grab a little Mark AR 1.5-4X for $250 and a set of QD rings and you'll be good to go.

Im blind as a bat, unfort, I cant see too good @ 300yds without a magnifier.

does anyone have links to write ups or videos of hands on reviews for the new Eotech g33? It's supposed to magnify the target but not the reticle and I'd like to see how well that works. Also the flip-to-side mount has been changed to a push-to-side mount.
